We are 2 kittens out of a litter of 5, born outside in the country. When we were about 5 weeks old, the people that walked outside once a day to feed us realized that 3 of our siblings had disappeared. One of the humans was worried that the same could happen to us and dropped us off at this house that had a lot of other rescued cats. The new owner didn't think we were cute at all and her friends kept saying that we'd end up extremely beautiful and big. Well, ha! ha!, we're 2 of the most gorgeous cats and bigger than all others our age in a foster home of over 20 cats!
Rex is very loving and sweet. He likes to be held and is not afraid of strangers. Rufus is more skittish and shy. We'd love to find them a home together as they are close and they need a lot more attention than they can get when they have to share with 20 +- other cats & 3 dogs. Please find it in your heart and home to give these 2 beautiful boys a good loving home. They'll provide many years of love, fun and purrs.

Freckles Friends Pet Shelter, Inc. is a group of volunteer pet lovers, organized in May of 2006 to raise funds to build & operate a pet shelter for our area in Middle TN. We have begun a foster care program in the meantime and are working to find homes for the growing number of unwanted pets in our county while promoting spay/neuter.
