The Dubuque Regional Humane Society has the largest selection of pets in the tri-state area. Adoption of the animals we shelter is one of our main functions. Our fees are $95 for a cat or kitten and $120 for a dog or puppy. This fee includes the spay/neuter, the first distemper shot, the rabies shot, and deworming for cats. If you adopt a dog it includes a bordatella vaccination, rabies, distemper, deworming, and spay/neuter. We work with over 45 veterinary clinics in the tri-state area so you can choose the veterinarian nearest you to care for your pet. Our hours are M/W/F 9-5, T/Th 9-7, Sat. 9-4, Sun. Noon to 4.
