Stitch is a 9-month-old grey and white mediumhaired housecat. He gets along with other cats (he's here with Bella) and dogs and is already neutered and littertrained. His owner was moving and he couldn't fit his two cats into the moving plans. His owner was kind enough to stay and fill out a background sheet - that really helps us out! He describes Stitch as easygoing, friendly and playful around cats, dogs and kids. He is generally a playful, talkative, affectionate, and cuddly lap cat that likes to play with toy mice and strings. His owner says that he "loves to give face kisses" and, like most cats, he is not fond of having his tummy petted.

The Dubuque Regional Humane Society has the largest selection of pets in the tri-state area. Adoption of the animals we shelter is one of our main functions. Our fees are $95 for a cat or kitten and $120 for a dog or puppy. This fee includes the spay/neuter, the first distemper shot, the rabies shot, and deworming for cats. If you adopt a dog it includes a bordatella vaccination, rabies, distemper, deworming, and spay/neuter. We work with over 45 veterinary clinics in the tri-state area so you can choose the veterinarian nearest you to care for your pet. Our hours are M/W/F 9-5, T/Th 9-7, Sat. 9-4, Sun. Noon to 4.
