Jinxy is a 4-year-old tiger calico female shorthair housecat that is already spayed, littertrained and front declawed. Her owner got her from our shelter when she was a kitten. Described as friendly, sometimes shy, and affectionate, her owner says that this lap cat is sometimes in the mood to cuddle.

The Dubuque Regional Humane Society has the largest selection of pets in the tri-state area. Adoption of the animals we shelter is one of our main functions. Our fees are $95 for a cat or kitten and $120 for a dog or puppy. This fee includes the spay/neuter, the first distemper shot, the rabies shot, and deworming for cats. If you adopt a dog it includes a bordatella vaccination, rabies, distemper, deworming, and spay/neuter. We work with over 45 veterinary clinics in the tri-state area so you can choose the veterinarian nearest you to care for your pet. Our hours are M/W/F 9-5, T/Th 9-7, Sat. 9-4, Sun. Noon to 4.
